Kyle's CureSearch Challenge Page
On July 22nd, I'll be running my first 15k run: The Ice Cream Sundae 15k on Belle Isle in Detroit. (Apparently they serve ice cream at the finish line. What better way to celebrate running 9.3 miles?) Really looking forward to the physical/mental challenge that the run will present.
In addition to training for this run, I've decided to also support a great cause: Raising funds for children's cancer research.
The money I raise will support CureSearch for Children's Cancer, a national non-profit foundation whose mission is to fund and support targeted and innovative children's cancer research, with measurable results.
I was incredibly blessed to have lived a very healthy childhood. Unfortunately, that's not always the case for so many kids out there. I'm hoping I can take advantage of this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the kids out there battling cancer.
I've set our initial fundraising goal at $500. Ideally, I'd love to blow by this goal and eventually increase that number. If you feel compelled to contribute to the cause, you can do so right on this page. Any contributions are greatly appreciated, and are going to an outstanding cause.
With your help, we can surpass this fundraising goal, and make a difference in the lives of the 43 children that are diagnosed with cancer each day.
Thank you and God Bless.
