Welcome to Team Wes!
Wes was 15 months old in 2014 when he was diagnosed with Stage IV, high-risk neuroblastoma. Suddenly our world was flipped upside down. Over the next year and a half Wes endured grueling treatments including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation and immunotherapy in order to reach NED status (no evidence of disease). He is currently enrolled in a hopeful clinical trial aimed at preventing relapse of this disease. Research for childhood cancer is dependent on philanthropic funding since our government only alots 4% of its cancer research budget to children.
CureSearch makes a difference!
The CureSearch Walk honors and celebrates children whose lives have been affected by children's cancer. The money I raise will support CureSearch for Children's Cancer, a non-profit foundation whose mission is to fund and support targeted and innovative children's cancer research, with measurable results.
Five of the 43 children diagnosed every day do not survive. Please, support me as I participate in the CureSearch Walk, and help change the odds for those children most at risk.
Thank you so much! Your support means everything to us!
