27 miles to tell children's cancer to take a hike!
Since 2014 I have hiked to raise money for pediatric cancer research in memory of my niece, Lesley. She battled Ewing's sarcoma (bone cancer) for over six years with strength and courage, always with a positive attitude and that bright, dimpled smile.
This year I have decided to participate in two Ultimate Hikes. The first is in September, when I'll be hiking 27 miles in one day on the Pacific Crest Trail. Crazy? Maybe, but children battling cancer need our help now more than ever.
The successful development of vaccines for Covid in record time has shown us what researchers can achieve with proper funding. The optimism as people become vaccinated is palpable. Let's bring children fighting cancer some of that hope by supporting CureSearch and their cutting-edge research programs.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help tell children's cancer to take a hike.
