The Ultimate Hike for the Ultimate Cause
Thanks for visiting my Ultimate Hike page!
As a father of two young boys (Evan 3, Jamie 6 months) I have come to realize the true importance that children make in our lives. I could not imagine a world without my boys and I cannot begin to imagine the impact that something like childhood cancer has on a child and his or her family. There are however thousands of children that are faced with this reality every year. In fact currently 43 children are diagnosed with cancer every day, and one out of eight of those children will not survive. Together we can change that.
On October 6th I will be running/hiking 30 miles on the Tecumseh Trail in Indiana in order to raise funds for childhood cancer research. I invite you to join me in this effort by helping me reach or surpass my fundraising goal of $2500. Please feel free to contribute whatever you feel comfortable with. No amount is too big or too small.
The money I raise will support CureSearch for Children's Cancer, a national non-profit foundation whose mission is to fund and support targeted and innovative children's cancer research, with measurable results. In addition, they are the authoritative source for information resources about children's cancer for families and their support systems.
Thank you for your time and your generosity. Lets all tell children's cancer to take a hike!
