Welcome to My Ultimate Hike Page
Remembering Job Kemp
Job Kemp was an imaginative, lego-building, movie-quoting, bike riding, giggly 5-year-old before he was diagnosed with a rare, incurable brain tumor called “DIPG” on May 3, 2017. His short, but brave battle ended just 4 months later on September 16. I am joining his family and friends to honor this sweet little boy as I train to hike 25.5 miles along the north shore of Lake Superior on August 24th. Please join us as we tell cancer to "take a hike".
More about the Ultimate Hike:
I am participating in a true ultimate challenge - hiking to raise funds for children's cancer and with your help, we can surpass my fundraising goal! By making a donation, you will make a difference in the lives of the 43 children diagnosed with cancer each day.
The money I raise will support CureSearch for Children's Cancer, a national non-profit foundation whose mission is to fund and support targeted and innovative children's cancer research, with measurable results. In addition, they are the authoritative source for information resources about children's cancer for families and their support systems.
Five of the 43 children diagnosed every day do not survive. Please, support me as I help change the odds for those children most at risk. I would be truly grateful!
With Love and Thanks,
