Hiking for Faith!
Warrior Princess Faith Fulmer lost her fierce battle with Osteosarcoma ten years ago. She was one of thousands of children who are diagnosed with cancer each year, and although she fought bravely, she did not survive. She was only 8 years old when she died. Way too young! This year, to celebrate her memory, my friends Kim and Lynette are joining me on Team Faith to hike 27 miles all in one day to raise critical funds for CureSearch's cutting-edge research programs. We are training hard so we can take care of the miles, but we need your help raising funds. If you're able, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help tell children's cancer to take a hike. Better yet, let me know if you'd like to lace up and join us!
Cancer is the leading cause of disease death in children in this country with 16,000 children diagnosed each year. Of those who survive, 2 out of 3 will develop at least one chronic health condition due to the toxic treatments they receive. Our children deserve better, and CureSearch is leading the way. To learn how CureSearch is making an impact, visit www.curesearch.org/seetheimpact. Don't forget to come back and make a donation when you're done! Every dollar helps!
