Paige Stibgen, Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)

What is your connection with childhood cancer?

My daughter, Paige, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) at age 10. She died 14 months later at age 11. I was a nurse at the time, but after her passing, I switched to pediatric oncology. I now care for children with cancer on a daily basis.

Why do you support Superheroes Unite! and the mission of CureSearch?

Research is so vital to our children's future. At the time of diagnosis, Paige's chance of survival was 35%. Through research, that statistic is now at 50%.

What one word would you use to describe the superheroes in these events?

Fierce.
